Crofton Park is a mainly residential suburban area within the Borough of Lewisham in South East London. The area was formerly an agricultural hamlet of Brockley, and is now a thriving compact neighbourhood where you can find a diverse range of residents from all walks of life. Being centrally situated to a number of other south-eastern London areas, Crofton Park became popular for its great accessibility to both the City and its surrounding areas.

Residents benefit from being far enough away from central London to not deal with the intensity of the City hustle and bustle, but are still close enough for commuting and enjoying the great amenities whenever they choose. With the popular spots of Brockley Market, Rivoli Ballroom, the Brockley Jack Theatre and the Arts and Crafts Gothic church of St Hilda, as well as a number of impressive hilltop views, the area has many enjoyable stand-out features for locals to revel in.

Crofton Park is a very safe neighbourhood with a below average violent crime rate and a below average property crime rate for an area within London.

Parking

A selection of both hourly and monthly parking options are available around this area, with private driveways and street parking on offer. Residents who are looking for secure parking can choose from some of these local spots, Dressington Avenue, Reynard Close, Seymour Gardens and Ravensbourne Park, all of which are within 15 minutes to the centre of Crofton Park. 

Nightlife

There are many Bars, Restaurants and Pubs on Brockley Road for local residents to enjoy. There is also the option to head out to surrounding areas including Peckham, Blackheath and Dulwich, which all have a thriving nightlife.

Family Friendly

Prendergast Ladywell School, Gordonbrock Primary School, Beecroft Garden Primary School and Turnham Academy are all great nearby Schools which parents can choose from to provide their children with the best possible education.  

Transport

Crofton Park Station is on the Thameslink route, it sits between Nunhead and Catford in Zone 3. There is good access to surrounding areas and into central London. Local Buses also run throughout the area.

There are a handful of lovely parks in and around Crofton Park which are suitable for dog walks and exploring. Owners have a choice of Honor Oak Recreation Ground, Brenchley Gardens, The Sexby Garden, Piermont Green, Peckham Rye Park & Common and Blythe Hill Fields.
