How does Placebuzz work? Are you an estate agency?
Placebuzz is not an estate agency. Placebuzz is a property search engine that allows you to search properties advertised by estate agents on all major property sites. As such, we don't have any additional information about the properties on our site - we provide the contact information for the agents instead. We do not charge you anything for using our search engine.
Who advertises properties on Placebuzz?
We have partnered with major property websites and estate agents to bring you the widest possible selection of property. The information about the agencies letting or selling each property is always listed alongside the property details.
I found a property I like. How do I contact the agent for more details?
After searching for property or receiving an email alert about a property matching your search, you can click the property from the search results or your feed, and contact the agent directly by phone or by using the contact form. We do not work directly with any of the agents who list properties. We forward enquiries to the agents behind the scenes, and you will receive a confirmation of this.
I sent an agent an enquiry through Placebuzz. Why didn’t I get a response?
We can assure you that all enquiries are forwarded directly to the agents for each property, and that yours was successfully delivered – our system tells us if it wasn’t, so that we can re-send it – but we unfortunately can’t guarantee that they will respond. That may be because they are very busy, or haven’t checked the platform they use for online communications yet. In these cases, we usually recommend that you try calling the agent directly, using the phone number we provide.
I made a viewing request through Placebuzz. Can you confirm my viewing?
Unfortunately, we don’t work directly with the agents who list properties on our site, so we cannot confirm any viewing requests. We can assure you that we have passed your request on to the agents, and that it was successfully delivered – our system tells us if it wasn’t – but we can’t guarantee that they will respond.
I tried calling the agents using the number on your site, but I didn’t get through. What should I do?
In some rare cases, the information agents send to us is out-of-date. Because we have properties from hundreds of agents on our site, and don’t work directly with any of them, it is difficult for us to know that this has happened. If your question is urgent, we suggest searching Google for the estate agency’s own website, because they are often more prompt about editing their own contact pages. If you have tried that and still can’t get through, please let us know – we will try everything possible to get in touch with them, and if we are unable to, we may remove them from our site.
