Canonbury is an area of Islington that is known for its beautiful Regency architechture, residential feel, and convenient location near Upper Street and the West End. Canonbury Station and Highbury & Islington Station are on the Overground to Stratford, West Croydon, and Richmond. Angel is on the Northern Line, and Highbury & Islington underground station is on the Victoria Line. The area is served by numerous buses, and is within cycling distance of the City and the West End. Essex Road also provides rail services.
