Flintshire is a county in north east Wales that is blessed with attractive market towns, sandy beaches, beautiful countryside, and medieval castles. Bordering the English county of Cheshire, the county is well-situated for visits to Chester, but Flintshire has many fascinating towns of its own to visit. Mold’s celebrated market, Flint’s castle, and St Winefrides Well in Holywell — one of the Seven Wonders of Wales — are among the many attractions Flintshire has to offer, in addition to modern sport and leisure facilities.
