"We love the generous indoor and outdoor space that our property provides. The garden provides peaceful views from our bedroom and study; we can sit in the sun by the back door having a morning coffee and then move to the patio for afternoon sun. The kitchen has plenty of workspace for cooking and we have ample room to entertain in the lounge or garden. We are close to the restaurants of Chandos and Whiteladies Road but we also enjoy the easy walk to the cafes of Clifton Village."
The home
A really special flat with dedicated office space and incredible private rear garden. The property has it's own front door which is accessed via stone steps through a smart front garden. The door opens onto a broad hallway and an immediate sense of space. The open plan living space has loads of light pouring through the West facing bay window, there's a nice blend of character and contemporary with classic Victorian features such as a pretty fireplace and cornicing. This super social room opens directly onto a well equipped kitchen with ample prep space. The bedroom is really spacious with a lovely view of the garden and a tranquil vibe, you could easily be in the countryside. The property is rounded off beautifully with a contemporary bathroom and great office space/occasional guest room.
The outside
This garden is simply stunning and one of the most beautiful I've seen in the area. Well stocked with mature trees and thoughtfully planted, there are a number of shady or sunny spots to peacefully enjoy a book alone and loads of social space for al fresco dining of hosting friends.
Living in Redland
This super area on the Cotham/Redland borders has many tree-lined roads, with parks and green spaces, perfect on summer days and is highly convenient being placed in between several hugely popular parts of Bristol. To the north is Westbury Park and the green expanse of The Downs, a short walk up Whiteladies Road. Up the road there are a number of independent shops and cafes, Cotham Hill and further to the larger establishments of Whiteladies Road and Clifton.
To the South is Bristol City Centre, around a 15/20 minute walk or a short cycle. To the east is Gloucester Road, running through the popular areas of St Andrews, Bishopston and down into Montpelier, lined with hugely popular bars, restaurants and shops. The area is very convenient into or out of Bristol, with Redland train station just around the corner and several bus routes running in the immediate area.
