The first door we come to is the kitchen / breakfast room, and this really does what it says on the tin.
All to often I read these three words, kitchen / breakfast room, and when you get there it's a bar stool and a kitchen worktop.....but not here, this is a room you can literally fit a table and chairs in. Kept nice and bright, thanks to the dual aspect windows, this kitchen is fitted with modern contemporary floor and wall mounted storage units. Work surfaces cover three walls, where you can prepare food with plenty of space to spare and also house many of the 21st century gadgets that we've become so reliant on today.
The next room along opens to a very spacious lounge. Now, this is large enough to also fit a dining table and chairs in, just depending on how sociable you want to be.....but nice to have options, right? Currently it houses one of the very fashionable 'en-vogue' L-shaped sofas, as well as an arm chair, with room for more free standing furniture. Kept nice and bright, curtesy of the patio doors that open to reveal the low maintenance rear garden area.
The outside space is in my eyes just perfect. It looks the part, but requires the minimum amount of work to keep it looking good. With artificial grass over two tiers, decking then rises over three steps, with railway sleeper flower beds that border a corner of the garden to create a nice decorative feature. The whole garden is fenced off for complete privacy and security. If you like to sit outside and sunbath, BBQ or just read a great book with a glass of wine, then this is the garden to do it in, and with very little cost to your social time.
Returning indoors and back to the entrance hallway, we now take the fork in the L-shape hall and come to the family bathroom.
A modern stylish white suite welcomes us in, this includes a panelled bath with hand held shower attachment over, and a glass shower screen that helps keep the water in. There's a pedestal wash hand basin with chrome mixer tap, and let's not forget the obligatory WC. A tiled floor and part tiled walls help keep the maintenance to a minimum, and a frosted window lets the natural light flow in, while keeping prying eyes out.....not that it's that kind of area!
The next room along is the main bedroom. This is a large room, as you'd expect for the main, with ample space for a large double bed as well as bedside tables. A large recess makes an ideal place for either bespoke fitted wardrobes or free standing ones, depending on budgets. This bedroom Is large enough for other free standing items too. A large window looks out over the front aspect.
The second bedroom came as quite a surprise. From the outside, when you pull up, this bungalow does not look as large from the outside as it is on the inside! In fact, when I came in, I was half expecting to find Dr. Who* hiding somewhere inside. This bedroom is currently being used as an office, but could easily be a good second double bedroom, ideal for guests or grandkids or whatever use you need it to be!
Overall, this is a well priced, immaculately presented two double bedroom bungalow, it offers great living accommodation, with a spacious lounge / dining room, a fabulous kitchen / breakfast room, stylish modern bathroom and a garden that even Alan Titchmarsh would be envious of, and all of this within a very short walk, yes walk, of shops, pubs and restaurants.
