The suburb of Milngavie, where the nearest railway station can be found, is only 9 miles away. A vibrant village community, it has a good range of local facilities including a very well stocked Co-op, 2 lovely cafes, the Old Mill Inn pub and restaurant, health centre, pharmacy, vets, and a tennis club with three all-weather courts.
Walks abound with The River Endrick on the edge of the village. Loch Lomand and the amazing hill ranges around it is only an 8 mile drive away and indeed can be seen from The Glebe beside the nearby Parish church.
