THE PROPERTY Pikes Cottage is on the edge of the village, a brief stroll from the popular local pub. From the road, a pedestrian gate in a high brick wall leads onto a terrace running along the south side of the cottage. The front door opens to the entrance hall with cloakroom opposite. To the left the sitting room which is a spacious, but cosy room with a multi fuel stove in the fireplace and three south facing double glazed windows overlooking the garden. The kitchen/dining room is another bright south facing room with Rayburn, fitted wall and base cupboards with wooden worktops, sink and drainer, plumbing for dishwasher. There is a generous dining area with French doors out onto a covered east facing terrace and garden.
From the hall the staircase rises to the passage landing. The principal bedroom 1 and ensuite shower room, overlook the garden at the eastern end of the house. The middle bedroom has a mezzanine sleeping platform.
The gardens all lie in front of the house and principally comprise a level lawn with some small ornamental trees and shrubs. At the end of the garden a timber building provides space for a studio or home office at one end and a garden store at the other.
