Property description

'We have lived in Brislington for the best part of ten years. During that time we have seen the area flourish. The high street Sandy Park is a hub of activity and the centre of this thriving community. A lovely deli is a walk to pick up some freshly made sourdough bread and mouth watering arancini, a great greengrocers with a great selection of food. New cafes have also popped up in the area with excellent coffee! We also love going to the Knowle for some pub grub and excellent Sunday roast. Living a stones throw to the school has been great for my daughter giving us extra time together and no need to get into a car and worry about parking in the morning. There are many local parks a short walk away which are a great meeting place for friends and families. I have a keen interest in interior design and have enjoyed making our house into a home from when I bought it all those years ago.
As this is a larger style terraced house it is the perfect size for entertaining and have enjoyed many parties and social gatherings over the years. We have loved living in the area, meeting lots of like minded people, making wonderful friends which will hopefully last a lifetime. '

Winchester Road is a road of terraced Victorian houses located between Wick Road and the Bath Road. The area is just a short walk to shops and the amenities of Sandy Park Road and Wells Road, with popular independents such as the Deli @ Sandy Park, Kin and with Bocabar at Paintworks and Avonmeads Retail Park close by. Across South Bristol, the shops and amenities of North Street can be easily reached, whilst Church Road and the bars and shops of St George are also within reach to the north. Also close by is Arnos Court Park and Nightingale Valley, which provide a great area for runners and dog-walkers, while those looking for more of an escape from the city, the proximity of the nearby Wells Road allows ease of access to North East Somerset and Chew Valley. A huge draw to the area is that semi-rural feel when venturing out towards Conham River Park, Eastwood Farm, and the ever-popular Beeses that sits overlooking the river Avon. For commuters, this area is very well placed, just a short distance from Bristol City Centre and Bristol Temple Meads Station. The popular Holymead Primary School is a street away, making the location ideal for young families.

A larger than average Victorian Terrace with large rooms and high ceilings throughout. Downstairs there is a reception room to the front with bay window and Victorian fireplace and to the rear is a great sized dining room/family room leading to the modern kitchen with navy units and a utility area at the rear. From the dining room the garden can be accessed through glass doors and has been landscaped to include a patio for dining, lawn and flower beds. There is also a downstairs WC on this floor. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a family bathroom.
