Property description

A well presented characterful two bedroom barn conversion with parking, garage and courtyard gardens peacefully located within the village of Holton.

Stable cottage is a charming and beautifully presented barn conversion with stone elevations under a slate roof. The property offers an unusual breadth of accommodation and a wealth of delightful character features which include; an impressive inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, exposed timber beams and vaulted ceilings. The property has been significantly improved by the current owners in recent years to a high specification with the addition of a stylish fitted kitchen and updated bathrooms.
The living space on the ground floor is particularly well arranged and has a wonderful open plan feel which is enhanced by dual aspects in both the kitchen/dining area and sitting room. The kitchen has been designed to blend in with the character of the cottage yet has a fresh contemporary feel. There are a range of fitted cupboards and drawers, as well as larder style cupboards which provide excellent storage, a white ceramic 1 ½ bowl sink and drainer, an electric induction hob and ‘Neff’ electric oven, integrated dishwasher and washing machine and space for a fridge/freezer. Within the kitchen there is ample space for a dining table and there is a large under stairs cupboard. The sitting room is partially open plan to the kitchen which works perfectly for entertaining but is equally used as a separate space for cosy winter evenings boasting a wonderful inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove and attractive oak flooring. This space is also ideal in the summer with French doors opening out onto the pretty courtyard garden. Conveniently there is also a bathroom on the ground floor as well as a shower room on the first floor.
Upstairs there are two generous double bedrooms which have an abundance of character, vaulted ceiling heights and a range of fitted wardrobes and cupboards. Between the bedrooms there is a beautifully appointed shower room which has a walk in shower with rainwater shower head, wc, basin with storage beneath and a heated towel rail.
