Property description
SELLERS COMMENTS We bought the house in 2001 and it has had 2 major renovations in that time; the most recent with the help of Turner Architects in 2019 to 2020.It is such a rarity to know almost all of the neighbours on the street, it's a wonderful place to live in London. People stay on Finsen Road their whole lives and I thought we would too! Since Lockdown my family and I really into horses and riding so we have finally been lured out to the Country whist the kids are still young enough to want to ride and be outdoors. This house is honestly a wonderful place to be; 2 miles South of London bridge, in a friendly village-style neighbourhood.Fond memories of the kids playing bare-foot in the park before bed and seeing so many friends on dog walks. Ruskin Park is a gem; with the paddling pool, steel warriors, summer trapeze, playground, summer concerts, fete and dog show. Our kids were at the school at the end of the road and now go to St Dunstan's College which is 11 minutes on the train from Denmark Hill. It has been a pleasure living in the house as only the second owners. The previous family moved in in 1910 and the 3 Children all lived here until they passed away. We'll really miss this house but it is time for us to move on to the next chapter.
