Property description

This is what our clients have got to say about living in Wernbrook Street.
“We have loved our time here, it’s a friendly road to live in with lots of families around us. We are really close to the Common it’s a minutes’ walk away.
You can hop on a bus at the end of the road, however we would always walk to either the DLR or Elizabeth Line stations as it’s a pleasant stroll and only 10 – 15 minutes away.
If you have a family yourself, there are some really good and outstanding schools locally to choose from.”

Wernbrook Street is a delightful tree lined turning within the frequently requested Plumstead Common Conservation Area.

This property enjoys sizeable accommodation comprising an entrance hall which leads to the two separate receptions rooms, the larger of which has an impressive bay window which overlooks the front. Behind the second reception you will find the kitchen, here again there is a nice bay window to the side elevation and a range of fitted units. Beyond is the utility room and its adjoining ground floor WC.

From the entrance hall stairs lead to the first floor landing. The space enjoys three bedrooms with the largest being some 15’3 x 13’9, its southerly aspect allows natural light to fill this room from its feature bay window. There is also a family bathroom/wc too.

Externally there is a rear garden with a timber decked area, perfect for entertaining.

The property does however require some updating and re-decoration but provides a perfect opportunity for any prospective buyer to make their own mark.

Wernbrook Street and St Johns Terrace are corralled on three side by Plumstead Commons' historic heath and grasslands, there are a multitude of options to enjoy their pleasant open spaces, perhaps a relaxing walk or, on a windy day flying a kite.

The property is perfectly placed for access to a good choice of local shops, takeaways etc. and nearby Plumstead Common Road. From here too there are a wide choice of bus routes serving neighbouring areas.

For rail services, the closest station will be Plumstead which offers regular services into the capital and beyond. Also within walking distance a little farther away you will find Woolwich town centre which has a good selection of high street shops, a DLR station and the Elizabeth Line station too. The latter giving services not only to Docklands but The City, West End and further afield.

There are several schools within the locale, most notably St Margaret’s C of E primary and Plumcroft primary. The closest secondary school is Plumstead Manor, a short walk away.

Viewings come highly recommended.
