Why the owner loves the property:
My parents bought the cottage on the Guildford Road in 1976, the houses name is Whitby 213 Guildford Road, there have been very few owners since it was built in the mid 1930s, the home retains many of the 1930s features including the original internal panel doors, skirting boards and picture rails, there is a working fire place in the sitting room which again has its original surround, the master bedroom has an original fire place which is a beautiful but I have never seen it in use. There is so much potential for the new owners to put on their own stamp and retain and enhance what is already there. The enclosed rear garden and generous off road parking are real assets and it also has a garage with light and power. The home is located near to Lightwater school and Hammond school making ideal for families, I am sure who ever the new owners are they will have many years of happiness as my family did. the home has been empty but maintained for the ten months when my mother eventually had to move to care home. We now have to let it go.
