The LocationSedgeford village lies south east of Hunstanton and is just a short drive from Hunstanton and Heacham beaches. Hunstanton has a wide variety of independent shops and supermarkets and there are also plenty of excellent pubs and cafes to choose from along the coastline.  Sedgeford village is steeped in history, recorded in the Domesday Book in 1086 and has one of the most important ongoing archaeological projects, to reconstruct the story of human settlement.  The church, St Mary, is tucked into a valley and is one of the largest Norfolk Round Tower Churches and  a Grade 1 listed building.  The village hall, opened in 2000, provides a strong village community and hosts a number of clubs and organisations  The mobile post office service also operates from the village hall three short afternoons a week.  The village pub is also within walking distance of the cottage.  Sedgeford is a great place for walkers to explore the Roman Peddars Way and a national cycle route passes through the village.
