The location is perfect for commuting to work locally with Marlow, Reading, Wycombe and Slough easily accessible by car but also getting the train to London is super quick and easy with the new Elizabeth Line. You can get from Maidenhead to Paddington in 20 mins or Tottenham Court Road in less than 40 mins without changing. You have Maidenhead and Cookham in walking distance to enjoy the shops, restaurants and riverside or country walks. The apartment is a good size and the large double windows in the living area ensure that it is always bright and airy. The wider layout of the apartment works really nicely and the open plan living space feels very comfortable. Having lived here for 2 years on my own and then 2 years with my partner and cat we have always had plenty of room. The real selling point for me was the communal facilities. There is a large communal garden area to the front which gets regularly used on sunny days. The onsite gym has everything that you need so there is no need for a gym membership and nipping downstairs for a workout couldnt be easier. There is also a large cinema room that can be booked by residents if you want to watch a film or tv show or invite your friends over for a sporting event or even a party. The apartment comes with access to a secure underground car park that is accessed through electric gates which is a huge benefit. There is ample storage space in the apartment but there is also a secure storage unit in the underground carpark for any larger overflow items. St James House has a really active and friendly social group with a residents Whatsapp group and regular get togethers in the cinema room or communal garden. We have really enjoyed our time living here and are sure that any purchaser will love it as well.
