Property description

Seller's Comment...We moved to Sandhurst as it was convenient for visiting family and friends and well connected to motorways and train lines for work.Having Swinley Forest on our doorstep is a great bonus as we love going for long walks and wildlife spotting. You can walk all the way to the Lookout and back, also great for biking. We have lived in Sandhurst for over 20 years, 18 years in this estate. Everything is in walking distance, schools, shops, doctors, parks. It has been perfect for our daughter from pre-school, primary to ending school this year. Our last move was only a few hundred meters from Trinity. A step up from an End Terrace to this detached house where we could see the potential to make it the home we were looking for. We've made a few improvements over the years. From the porch where we converted the downstairs loo to a handy cloakroom for coats and muddy shoes after a nice long walk.Into the lounge, which is the most recent work, with new flooring and skirting boardsWhich leads into the kitchen, where we knocked through and extended out to make a lovely light and airy open plan kitchen diner with plenty of workspace and storage. It's been a great space for entertaining where much food, drink and laughter has been shared. This leads to a den study room which used to be the garage, and was already converted when we purchased. This room has been great for our daughter through the years from playroom to den/study. It has been great for sleepovers.Works well as we also have a downstairs bathroom with walk in shower.Upstairs we changed the stairs to give more room in the main bedroom, with Hammond's fitted wardrobes, updated the bathroom and replaced the carpet all only a few years ago. it's a nice light and airy landing with three good size bedrooms and a study office where one of us mainly works from home these days.We will be sad to leave but there are exciting times ahead now our daughter is off to College. We leave this home with happy memories, where no doubt more will be made by the new ownersWill and Mike's Comment...This house has such an impressive kitchen space and has to be one of the best family homes that we have seen in this area in a long time. Our sellers have perfectly summed up why not only is this a great house but also a fantastic location with so much green space right on your doorstep. As you can see this home has some fantastic space on offer both upstairs and downstairs with some great room sizes. To the front there is a porch entrance with a useful storage cupboard for coats and shoes, it then leads you into the bright living room which has been nicely decorated. The back of this home is where it gets really impressive with our sellers having extended the kitchen into a delightful 21ft open plan kitchen dining space. This really is the hub of the home and makes for the perfect entertaining area with its skylights and double doors leading onto the garden. The kitchen is a great specification with high gloss units, integrated appliances and ample space for both a dining table and sofa. You've also got the benefit of the beautifully finished downstairs shower room and study or playroom accessed from here.Upstairs all of the bedrooms are a good size with the master having been made bigger by a change in the staircase and fitted wardrobes all the way down one side. Bedrooms two and three have plenty of space with the forth currently being used as an office space. The family bathroom has been finished to a great standard and all of the carpets have been recently replaced. The garden gets lots of sun and is very private, whilst to the the front you have driveway parking for two cars. If you are looking for a spacious family home in a great location then this really is not one to miss out on, we can't wait to show you how good it is inside.Area Comment...This house is in a great location with the entrance to Swinley Forest just a few minutes walk around the corner. The home sits within many popular school catchments but is only a few minutes walk from both Owlsmoor Primary School and Sandhurst Secondary School. Within a few minutes drive you are at the popular Camberley Meadows where you have choice of both Tesco and M&S superstores. If you like the idea of having green space to walk around and a playpark for the children, then this is perfect as Sandhurst Memorial and Snaprails park is less than a mile away from your door. If you are commuting there are great links to both the M3 and M4 whilst well positioned between Sandhurst and Camberley train stations.
