We had dreamed of building our perfect house for years and like many in our age group were excited by the Grand Designs we saw on the telly. 
Working with an Architect we knew from sailing we came up with this perfect solution that gave us the ability to lock up and leave so we were not tied to the house vs doing the things we wanted to like :  sailing, meeting friends in the lakes and wider travel.  Losgaintir reflects that desire and purpose perfectly for us with its open plan living, huge basement and decent garage to store everything but the car or camper which are front of house.  In terms of location there is no better street in Wheatley given the access we have to Shotover and further afield without the need to get into the car.  The dogs love it as do we.  The street is quiet the neighbours great.  The only thing missing for us are the sea and mountain views of home.
