Do you like the photos? Then maybe you would like to view this home? One of the best things about New Home 4U is, we OPEN 7 DAYS a WEEK and are physically in the office just so that you can view, like no other estate agent in Flintshire.

This attractive and modern town house is in a small terrace of 4 at the head of a short cul-de-sac off the Old London Road, meaning it is within an easy walk of the shops and many facilities that Flint has to offer and yet is still equipped with dedicated off road parking for two vehicles for when you cant face lugging home the shopping from Aldi.

To the front of the home the block paved area not only provides the necessary space but remains maintenance free. There is a canopy style porch offering protection to the semi glazed UPVC front door with its attractive decorative glass insert allowing additional light into the inner hall. Entering the hall we find a surprisingly wide space with a high quality and hard wearing wood laminate floor and where the staircase rises in front of us. To the right is the door into the downstairs cloakroom which is something I did not expect to find in a home of such seemingly modest proportions.

The remaining door from the hall opens into the lounge which while not huge is warm and welcoming in the way a family lounge should be. In here we find space for a pair of settees gathered around the rooms principal focal point which is supplied by the attractive wooden fire surround and its living flame gas fire. Plenty of light is provided by the front facing picture window and the room is made to feel disproportionately big by the twin fully glazed doors that open into the kitchen. Normally providing a natural barrier between the two spaces, when open these result in the feeling of a much larger room, something that affects the view back into here from the dining room equally.

Stepping into the dining room/kitchen came as a pleasant surprise as unlike many examples of these dual use rooms, this one is actually fit for purpose and provides enough room for a proper dining table without intruding into the kitchen space. Aside from the dining table, there is another door into that essential in any home; the under-stairs storage or as it is frequently known, the Hoover garage. This is also where all those things that will come in useful one day can be kept without people forever falling over them. In the remaining space, the kitchen units are laid out in a practical U shape and provide spaces for a tall fridge freezer, hob and oven, washing machine and drier.

The dining room end of the room also features a set of French doors which open onto the enclosed rear garden with its L shaped block paving path running across the rear of the home and down along one side of the garden, following the boundary fence. At the bottom of the garden is a solid metal built shed providing storage for all the tools and childrens outdoor toys you can imagine so if you need somewhere for youngsters to play safely in the fresh air, you may just have found it.
Returning indoors and up the stairs, we double back towards the front of the home to find the smallest bedroom. In common with the majority of third bedrooms in modern homes this is definitely a single room, perhaps best suited to its current guise as a nursery or, in these difficult times when working from home is becoming less unusual, it would make an ideal office.

Adjacent to here and also overlooking the front is the second, far larger bedroom. Although still not the worlds biggest bedroom, there is adequate space for a double bed and various items of free standing furniture for your comfort.

Moving towards the rear we come to the main bedroom. This is larger still and enjoys a view over the rear garden but if I am honest, space for pieces of free standing furniture remains at a premium. In its original form the room offered one thing that todays developers seem convinced will tempt buyers, an en-suite bathroom. The problem with their thinking is that in too many instances, there simply isnt enough room to fit such a room while keeping it big enough to turn round in and anyway, there is a bathroom next door so it is really necessary? With this in mind, the en-suite has been removed and substituted with a walk-in wardrobe-come-dressing room which for its sheer practicality is a work of genius. At a stroke it provides all the clothes storage you could ever need and leaves you with a bright and spacious room as befitting its role as the main bedroom. And it is no further to the loo from your bed anyway

Last but not least we come to the family bathroom which is comfortably appointed and features the expected suite of pedestal hand basin, lavatory and bath with mixer taps feeding a wall mounted shower above. Protection from overspray from this comes via the traditional shower curtain and the half height tiled walls around the bath area. Simple, practical and effective.

All in all this is an excellent opportunity for a young family to establish themselves on the housing ladder in a home that gives them everything they need at a sensible price they can afford. Its location is the real bonus, being quietly tucked away yet close enough to the town centre to be convenient for both the facilities we all need and the employment opportunities offered by the surrounding industrial areas of the Deeside strip. The home is in excellent condition and should need little attention for the foreseeable future, leaving some lucky buyer to just get on with enjoying it.
