If you prefer more shops then the islands capital town of Newport is minutes down the road in the car where you have the Islands central bus station that links you to every corner of the beautiful Isle of Wight. I have lived here with my late husband for many years now and it has been the perfect bungalow to retire too. I love the location and never need to use my car as the buses here are great to get me to everywhere, I want to go. The views across my rear garden are lovely and I get some wonderful sunsets at the back. It has been a long tough decision to leave here after so many years but my daughter and family are in Bembridge and I spend a great deal of time there so I have finally decided it is time to move closer to them.
