Situated adjacent to open parkland in the village of Douglas, this detached bungalow enjoys two bedrooms, spacious living areas, and bright, modern interiors, plus a small private garden and a double driveway. The property is situated adjacent to playing fields and close to the historic conservation village’s excellent amenities. The bungalow was formerly a three-bedroom which it could easily be converted back into, subject to planning permission, and vacant possession allows for immediate occupation.
The front door opens into a long, welcoming hall with built-in storage. At the end of the hall, a living room awaits. Lit by dual-aspect windows, the reception room enjoys neutral décor, a charming brick-effect wall, and modern grey wood-styled flooring, and offers plenty of space for furniture layouts. Returning back to the opposite end of the hall, you reach a large dining kitchen. Neatly fitted to one side of the room is a selection of modern wall and base cabinetry, accompanied by spacious worktops and splashback panelling. An oven, a hob, and an extractor hood are integrated, whilst space is provided for freestanding appliances and a separate utility cupboard (attached to the property and accessed externally) offers a separate area for laundry appliances. The adjoining dining area offers the perfect space for seated meals and entertaining and could, with the correct permissions, be converted back to its original use as a third bedroom, if desired.
The home’s two sunny, southeast-facing bedrooms continue the modern presentation of the preceding accommodation with attractive décor and fitted carpets, and both offer plenty of space for furniture. A contemporary shower room completes the accommodation on offer and comprises a large shower enclosure, a basin set into storage, and a WC. The home is kept warm by oil central heating, the windows are all double glazed and the property benefits from solar panels.
Externally, the bungalow is accompanied by a small garden area and a private driveway offers off-street parking for two cars.
Note: Some rooms have been virtually staged to show the potential layout, however all images are actual photographs.
