With Wandsworth Park just a short walk away from the area, along with the nearby River Thames, residents have the option to take a much needed after work or weekend stroll with the benefit of some stunning scenery. If entertainment is what you are looking for or you need to get your dose of retail therapy, Putney High Street and The Putney Exchange Mall both have a lot to give, with a diverse range of amenities and eateries dotted around, there are shops which cater to all ages and tastes.

Parking

As well as residential street parking, East Putney provides some good car park options. Choose from Putney Exchange Shopping Centre, Southside 2, King George's Park, Southside 1 and Riverside West, within and around the area, all for a reasonable fee.

Nightlife

Head to Upper Richmond Road to find a wide selection of local Bars, Pubs and Restaurants. Residents also have the option to travel to the nearby hotspots of Wandsworth and Battersea or even cross over the Thames to spend an evening in Fulham.

Family Friendly

This location is more than suited to families, with a great range of nearby Schools such as, St Mary's C of E Primary School, Oasis Academy, All Saints' CE Primary School and Our Lady of Victories Catholic Primary School, all of which are a great option for parents looking to provide a local education for their children.

East Putney is an ideal spot for pet owners. There is a great choice of large green spaces nearby which are available to residents and their furry friends to explore, such as, Putney Heath, Putney Common, Richmond Park, Wandsworth Park and Wandsworth Common.

Transport

The area is known for its great transport links within the South West London. East Putney Underground Station provides access to the District Line, which gets to Earls Court in approximately ten minutes, reaching London Victoria in 20 minutes and the City in 33 minutes. East Putney Station has many trains running throughout the day, as well as a 6 minute train to Clapham Junction where you can then get great links to surrounding areas and to Central London. There are also local Bus routes to use.
