Northamptonshire Area Guides

Two villages in this country made The Sunday Times’ list of the top 101 places to live in Britain in 2014, and with good reason — Northamptonshire offers attractive outdoor spaces, pretty villages, and good local shops and services, and all at an affordable price. Northamptonshire is generally well connected by train and road, to London and the rest of England. Trains from Northampton to London take under an hour, as do trains to Birmingham, but many who live in the county don’t need to travel that far for work — many corporate head offices in nearby Milton Keynes. Northamptonshire is rapidly growing, and offers a place for everyone, from those who prefer a quieter rural life to those who would like to live in a bustling market town.
