Inverkeithing, Fife Rating
Inverkeithing is a port and parish town located in Fife, Scotland, along the north shore of the Firth of Forward. In medieval times, Inverkeithing was a walled town with four ports or gates, which were later removed in the 1500s and recycled to help fuel the growth of the town. Today, Inverkeithing is primarily a commuting town with a population of around 5,280 residents which range from professionals and non-professionals to young families and retirees. Many monuments make up this quaint town, with residents and tourists having the pleasure of being able to explore a variety of historic buildings and landmarks, such as, Mercat Cross which dates back to 1400, Thomsoun's House dating back to 1617 and St Peter's Parish Church dating back to 1827.
