We chose this unique apartment because of the fabulous views and the fact we can go for long walks through the myriad of paths just across the road from the flat. Since we have been here we have had some wonderful parties as the kitchen and reception rooms lend themselves to entertaining. We love being able to spend days on the sandy beaches at St. Mildred's Bay and West Bay. The area has hardly changed in more than 50 years and the beaches, with their beach huts, are still a magnet for families. It is an ideal spot for a bit of exercise as you can cycle along the 35-mile stretch of coastal promenade or walk on the greensward opposite the apartment. Westgate town centre is within walking distance and offers a unique parade of individual shops as well as Indian and Chinese restaurants. There is a main-line station, a very good and inexpensive local cinema as well as a bowls and tennis club while the Westgate and Birchington golf club is not far away, so there is something for everyone.”
