Do you like the photos? Then maybe you would like to view this home? One of the best things about New Home 4U is, we OPEN 7 DAYS a WEEK and are physically in the office just so that you can view, like no other estate agent in Flintshire.

Clos Homersley is a quiet cul-de-sac in which, being a dead end, passing traffic is never an issue so the children are as safe as they can ever be. Speaking of children, what makes this home so attractive to parents of primary school age kids is the short walk to Ewloe Green Primary, one of the highest ranked schools in Flintshire according to OFSTED and they should know. Such is the regard in which this school is held that homes in the area change hands quickly. The added bonus with this particular home is its size; this is not the usual offering from the major builder but something quite special from Morris Homes who, unlike many of their competitors seem to realize the actual size of real people.

A shared open plan lawn to the front is separated from the road by beds of established shrubs giving an air of privacy. To one side is a line of covered garages providing two spaces per household, one open and one under cover. At the other side of the home is a path leading to a wooden gate giving access to the rear garden, something which in turn has the effect of widening the already generous garden space.

An attractive covered porch protects the composite front door which allows us into the inner hallway. Immediately to the left is a door into the downstairs cloakroom where we find a pedestal hand basin and lavatory along with sufficient space for hanging coats out of the way.

From here we move into the lounge where it is the space that impresses most, principally in the way the room is so much wider than anticipated. The stairs rise in front of us but take little away from the size of the room which is big enough to accept one of those fashionable L shaped corner settees with ease and is where light from the large front facing picture window floods in. The main focal point of the room comes in the form of the attractive fireplace and the living flame effect electric fire it contains.

Moving past here towards the rear of the home takes us through an archway into the kitchen/dining room. So often, rooms bearing this title are a disappointment, simply because they are too small to fulfil either role with any degree of success. Here however we find a dining room able to accommodate a full sized table with ease while still leaving room for diners to move about without disturbing those already seated.

The remainder of the kitchen is very fresh feeling, aided by the concealed ceiling lights and laid out in a practical U shape placing the chef in the centre of the action. The units beneath the concealed gas combi boiler contain the automatic washing machine while opposite here lie the integrated fridge and freezer. The four burner gas hob and electric fan oven are positioned against the far wall and the whole area is floored in very attractive ceramic tiles.

At the back of the dining room is a large set of French doors opening onto a patio running the full width of the home and then, around the side and up to the previously mentioned wooden gate to the front. The patio provides ample space for a small wooden shed and various items of seating for the inevitable family BBQs before the broad lawn stretches to the rear fence. This is simply a lawn but should the mood take you, there is plenty of space for the inclusion of various flower (or vegetable) beds.

Climbing the stairs and turning towards the front to address what is so often the weakest part of this type of home, the smallest bedroom, we find a pleasant surprise. Although this is still strictly a single room, once again Morris Homes realistic appraisal of the size of real people comes up trumps and provides somewhere where anyone would be comfortable.

Alongside here and also overlooking the front is the first of the double rooms. In here there is ample space for twin bedside cabinets each side of the double bed while still leaving room for additional clothes storage.

At the rear of the home is the main bedroom, bigger than its counterpart and providing room once again for twin bedside cabinets, a large free standing wardrobe and chest of drawers, while not forgetting the double bed obviously

Another door off here reveals that must have accessory which today is almost considered compulsory, the en-suite. This is a particularly spacious example, fully tiled throughout and featuring a suite of pedestal hand basin, lavatory and walk-in shower cubicle. This contains a shower unit drawing its hot water directly from the combi boiler to ensure you never suffer an icy surprise mid way through, which can spoil anyones morning and is to be avoided if possible.

Last but not least we come to the family bathroom, about which there is little to say. It is a room, with a bath. And a loo. And a hand basin. All nicely presented and impossible to fault, but there is little that stands out as unusual, however this can sometimes be a good thing as who needs drama when all they really want is a bath?

All in all this home is immaculate, as you would expect bearing in mind its age (or lack of) and bigger than expected, making it into the comfortable family home of which many builders boast but frequently fail to deliver this is perfectly located for those with young children. The local school is the envy of parents throughout Flintshire and for parents who are still tied to the daily commute, the access to the A55 could not be bettered while the weekly shop is simply catered for by the major shops of Queensferry and the easy drive down to Broughton Park. Does it do everything you can ask of it? Very nearly.
