Do you like the photos? Then maybe you would like to view this home? One of the best things about New Home 4U is, we OPEN 7 DAYS a WEEK and are physically in the office just so that you can view, like no other estate agent in Flintshire.

Reminiscent of a row of cottages featuring in a childs storybook, these apparently tiny homes reveal themselves as similar to the Tardis in the accommodation they provide. From first impressions the very idea that you would find three bedrooms with an en-suite in the biggest of them seems preposterous but truth is stranger than fiction, as you will see. As to the practicalities of living here, its car port to the side and the additional parking space are invaluable in this type of setting and the close proximity of the major road network takes the pain out of commuting as far as is possible.

The final home in a small terrace accessed by a narrow cul-de-sac and backing on to the Baptist Chapel on Brunswick road, you can at least be assured of peaceable neighbours

A large porch with its own slate roof stands proud of the front elevation and houses the dark wood front door. Entering here we are confronted by the automatic washing machine which, having been moved here from the kitchen frees up space in there while doing nothing to detract from the usefulness of the entrance.

An archway from here allows us into the kitchen where the tall fridge freezer sits immediately on our left, before a corner mounted breakfast bar which provides ample dining space. The remainder of the room features an L shaped series of units with attractive and modern black tiling between the work tops and high level storage cupboards. The room is made to feel all the more cottage-like by the dark wood ceiling beams, which give an almost fairy tale atmosphere.

From here we move into the lounge, where the home slips effortlessly into Tardis mode. I was expecting a dark and slightly claustrophobic space but nothing could be further from the truth as there is ample space for one of the immense L shaped settees so popular today but which can frequently overpower rooms leaving no space for anything else. Along one wall is a raw brick fireplace containing a living flame effect fire, and which extends to either side in a way that is very reminiscent of the 70s but here simply accentuates the cottage style of the home.

To the rear the window overlooks the small garden which is laid completely to artificial grass and surrounded by wooden fencing. At one end is a substantial wooden store shed beside the rear of the car port where we also find access to the parking area.

A door at the far end of the lounge takes us into the hall where we find the front door. As soon as you enter this home it becomes apparent that it is actually back to front but hey, back door, front door, whats in a name? The hall, like much of the rest of the house is larger than expected and is where the stairs rise to the landing. Passing the staircase with its useful storage beneath concealed by a wooden door, we come to the family bathroom.

This is again, a sizeable room with a fashionable and practical patterned vinyl floor covering (whoever thought lino would make a comeback?) but Im not being fair. Todays vinyls are easier on both the eyes and the feet than the originals ever were and this has a wood planking pattern that is particularly pleasing. There is space in here for various free standing items of furniture; a chest of drawers and large shelving unit along with the expected suite of pedestal hand basin, lavatory and traditional bath. What? No shower, I hear you cry but dont panic. There is one upstairs.

Speaking of which, at the top of the stairs we come to the door into the smallest bedroom. Here is a room with the dimensions I expected to find in this home, because it is tiny. However with its cosy feel given by the sloping ceiling it becomes the perfect place for a young child or, in these strange times when more and more people are working from home it could become a very handy office. .

Adjacent to here, the second bedroom returns to the theme of providing more space than you expect by being a very comfortably proportioned double room with space each side of the bed for a set of bedside cabinets and a free standing wardrobe that still leaves vacant floor space for ease of movement.

Finally we come into the main bedroom, the dimensions of which verge on the luxurious. There is space beside the bed not only for bedside cabinets but a formal dressing table and a chest of drawers. A full wall of fitted wardrobes provide all the storage you could need and their mirror fronts make the room feel even bigger than it actually is; a visual trick that is completely unnecessary.

Off here is the finishing touch: the en-suite. This welcome addition is fully tiled throughout and provides pedestal hand basin, lavatory and a walk in shower with traditional curtain and electric wall mounted shower.
