After approximately 1.5 miles take the right hand fork at Marsh Bridge and head up onto the moor (signposted towards Winsford, Exford etc). At Spire Cross turn right and head down off the moor into the village of Winsford. Pass the Royal Oak Inn on your right hand side and then at the war memorial turn right and then immediately left (by the side of the Tea Rooms – Do not turn left and go through the ford). After approximately 15 yards (as you start to pass through the village in the Exford direction) Hawthorns will be found on your left hand side)
