A gravel path runs from here around the front of the homes, which widens out in front of number 2 where we find the deep bay window and wood effect UPVC front door.

Stepping into the black & white check ceramic floored hallway there is a door to our left that opens into the front facing lounge. This is amply lit from the bay window while retaining a cosy feel helped in no small measure by the large feature fireplace with its traditional open fire, guaranteed to warm the cockles on a bitter winters night.

Moving down the hall towards the rear we come to the dining room or, according to your needs, possibly a second sitting room. This is of a similar size to the lounge and features a light wood laminate floor. There is a large chimney breast with a deep raw brick insert which contains that must have accessory in any home with pretentions of being thought of as a cottage; a log burning stove. This provides all the background heat you could wish for and is even capable of warming the majority of the home should you want to go all traditional and not use the gas central heating.
An additional door beneath the stairs allows us through into the kitchen which, although not huge is well laid out in an L shaped format with a comprehensive range of units. One thing it lacks however is a washing machine, but dont despair as space for this has been found in one of the outhouses.

Out through the back door we find ourselves on a large paved patio area, from where the elevated position becomes obvious as we gaze down over roofs of adjacent properties. At the far side of the patio are the two detached outhouses connected by an adjoining roof allowing dry passage from one to the other. The larger of the two houses the washing machine as previously mentioned and provides masses of additional storage while the smaller is a good old-fashioned outside lavatory. As this patio is ideally suited to (socially distanced obvs) gatherings and BBQs, the extra loo is always handy. Beyond the patio the sloping lawn runs down to the distant perimeter fence and is surrounded on either side by further fencing lined with various shrubs and areas suitable for vegetable production. Storage of garden stuff is provided for by two separate wooden sheds.
Returning indoors and up the stairs, at the top we are confronted by the door into the bathroom. Some of the detailing in here could benefit from something of a makeover but the basics are all here present and correct. There is space in the corner of the room for a substantial storage cupboard while the remaining suite comprises a pedestal hand basin, lavatory and a traditional bath with en electric shower above.

Adjacent to here is the first and smaller of the bedrooms, although at 10 by nearly 12 into the alcoves it can scarcely be called small. In fact if this were a modern new build home it would be considered a luxuriously sized double so too much criticism seems churlish

Moving along the landing to the front of the home we come to the main bedroom. With its two forward facing windows, lack of light is never an issue in here and its stretching the full width of the home means we have a very large and comfortable bedroom. In fact it is made even bigger by the alcoves either side of the chimney breast, these being usefully occupied by a large fitted wardrobe and vanity unit respectively. This additional storage removes the need for extra free standing furniture which in turn, makes the room feel even more spacious.
