Do you like the photos? Then maybe you would like to view this home? One of the best things about New Home 4U is, we OPEN 7 DAYS a WEEK and are physically in the office just so that you can view, like no other estate agent in Flintshire.

Situated on Moor Croft in New Brighton this home is ideally positioned for access into Mold, a journey catered for by an excellent local bus service or, thanks to its close proximity to the Aston Hill, access by car to Queensferry, the Deeside strip and Ellesmere Port. The employment opportunities offered by these locations make this a very attractive place to live and after a long days toil this is exactly the welcoming environment you would wish to come home to. As a family home it is ideal, offering the flexible accommodation demanded by the changing needs of family life and should that family include members of school age, highly regarded schools, both primary and secondary are within easy reach.

To the front of the home the garden has been completely block paved providing off road parking for two or three vehicles which in a suburban setting like this, is always a bonus. Stepping through the white UPVC front door into the ceramic floored inner hall, we are in what I think may originally have been a formal porch but has been included into the inner hall, separated from it by a half height wall which opens up the space nicely and allows additional light to shine through.

On our left is a door into the ground floor bedroom which, depending on your individual needs could serve equally well as a study, office or additional sitting room where teenagers can run riot without disturbing anyone. Past the stairs at the top of the hall an attractive semi glazed wooden door opens into the kitchen where immediately on the right is another door, this time into the lounge/dining room.

Stretching the full depth of the home this is notionally separated in two by the remnants of a dividing archway leaving two comfortably proportioned rooms easily big enough to contain the family. The lounge currently plays host to a large leather three piece suite which fails to overpower the room, leaving loads of free floor space. The rooms natural focal point is provided by a fireplace which, having had the chimney blocked off remains the ideal site for ornamental or flower displays. To the rear, the dining room is adequately large for a full sized dining table to take centre stage beside the French doors opening onto the delightful rear garden.

Outside the French doors a split level area of decking runs across the full width of the home, providing a spacious and peaceful environment for those all important early evening drinkies after a gruelling day at the coal face, although perhaps less important in the present winter climate But never mind, better times are-a-coming.

Beyond the decking the area is laid to a large lawn where in the centre, there is an ornamental stone bird bath to welcome our feathered friends. The whole area is enclosed by sturdy wooden fencing fronted by a variety of colourful and well established shrubs and bushes while a further seating area and a wooden shed are found in the far corner. Also in this corner is a splendid oak tree offering welcome shade for when sunnier times finally return. Before you worry about this however, the tree appears in excellent health which allays fears for its future maintenance.

Back through the dining room door and into the kitchen with its attractive and practical ceramic floor. There is sufficient space in the centre of the room of a four seat table, making casual dining in here a possibility and saving the formal dining room for special occasions. All the outer walls are lined with fitted cupboards and units with spacious work surfaces above and providing copious amounts of storage space. Another archway to the rear reveals the utility room, conveniently housing the tall fridge freezer, additional chest freezer and the tumble drier.

Climbing the stairs and moving towards the front we come to what is usually the bte noir of this type of home, in that one of the bedrooms is invariably small owing to the loss of floor space caused by the intrusion of the stairwell. Well small it may be, but by cleverly placing a large storage cupboard over here thus removing the need for free standing furniture it becomes a well proportioned single room.

Adjacent to here and also overlooking the front of the home is the main bedroom, where storage space will never be an issue due to the presence of one complete wall of fitted wardrobes sufficient to satisfy the needs of the most determined shopaholic. In addition to these there is still space for a large chest of drawers and the double bed with its pair of bedside cabinets without the room feeling at all overcrowded.

Moving towards the rear of the home, the second of the double bedrooms is slightly smaller than its counterpart but, being equipped with a similar set of fitted wardrobes becomes an equally comfortable room. The real crowning glory in here is the view from the window; looking down over the delightful rear garden with the towering oak tree and open fields beyond giving the true feel of being in the country but with few, if any of the inconveniences involved.

Alongside here and also overlooking the rear is the bathroom. This has been freshly tiled throughout from floor to ceiling and features modern recessed lighting set into the false ceiling. The suite comprises unsurprisingly of a pedestal hand basin, lavatory and traditional bath with an electric shower above while warmth is provided via the stainless steel heated towel rail/radiator.

All in all this is a home that delivers far more than you would initially expect from it. Standing in an area predominated by standard three bed semis, you expect something run of the mill but if that is the case you are in for a very pleasant surprise. The addition of the downstairs bedroom adds a welcome degree of flexibility because if three beds are enough you have the option of an additional sitting room, a hideaway for noisy teenagers, or in these difficult times, somewhere to work from home in comfort. The remainder of the home is more spacious than I expected it to be and the garden is a delight. All this, when coupled with its location so easily accessible from Mold and the major road links, conspire to make this just a little bit special and isnt that something we all want from our homes?

Now, unlike the other estate agents, we actually OPEN 7 DAYS a WEEK and are physically in the office, so that you can view this home when you want but please respect the owners wishes, as they would yours and call us as we accompany every viewing [use Contact Agent Button]
