Northop Hall is a very popular village location, not only because of its close-knit community but because it has a shop for your every day essentials, a cracking public house and is just minutes from the A55, which can whisk you to Cheshire Oak or Broughton Shopping Retail Park in under 20 minutes, depending on how you drive.

As we pull up outside Church Close, theres a low level brick wall to confirm the boundary and a concrete driveway leads up past the bungalow. To the rear a garage quietly sits and waits to be used as another storage facility come on, who uses them for a garage today, cars dont rust!
Directly in front of the home is an area of decorative gravel with some shrubs, which if you required more parking, could easily be adapted. A pathway sits on the opposite side of the driveway leading to the part-sheltered front door.

As we enter into the spacious entrance hallway you notice just how light this space is, mostly due to the leaded windows and side panels in the front door. An archway leads to the sleeping quarters of the home and the family bathroom, theres also a useful store cupboard too. From here lets take the first door into the Kitchen.

This is a good sized room but if Im totally honest, with a little bit of clever planning, could become so much more than just a kitchen, a breakfast area would be very beneficial here as the space has been badly utalised. Even though the units in here are in very good order, you may want to update them with slightly more modern ones, as is often the case when you move into a NewHome. Work surfaces are plentiful and allow numerous gadgets to adorn them while still providing ample space for food preparation. Voids provide placement and plumbing for dishwasher or washing machine, a cooker too and finally theres a fully serviced boiler to help keep the home nice and cosy. A large window helps to keep this room nice and bright while a door leads you to the driveway.

From the kitchen, a space saving sliding door opens into the dining area. This room allows dining for at least six people comfortably with room for a large sideboard, more people can be catered for, all depending on the size of your table and family. An extra large window overlooks the front elevation and again provides a nice bright space in which to entertain. If you were thinking of updating the kitchen, you could also think about taking the dividing wall out between the kitchen and dining room. This would create a room in which you would probably spend most of your time and should be fairly straightforward to achieve however, we would recommend you talk to a professional builder first.

Another archway opens up the lounge from the dining room, which I think works well. It certainly provides a nice airy feel about with the large window which looks over the front aspect. A real flame effect gas fire with ornamental wooden hearth and decorative showcase glass cupboards, provides extra warmth and a nice feature to this room, although it does look a little dated.

As we walk back through the dining area, through the kitchen and back to the entrance hallway, we go through the arch, past the storage cupboard and the next door we come across is the family bathroom on the left.

Tiled from floor to ceiling this room does exactly what it says on the tin, it keeps you clean and is easy to maintain too. With the usual contemporary toilet and sink, a modern glass shower cubicle, a heated towel rail to keep your towel nice for when you get out, everything you could wish for in a bathroom. Theres even a frosted window to let light in and keep prying eyes out, which is always useful in a Bungalow.

Next we come to the main bedroom. This is a large room with a huge array of fitted wardrobes to one side and still space for a large double bed and bedside cabinets too! A large window overlooks the rear garden.

Bedroom two sits next door, again this is a generous sized room, although not as large as the main (obviously) it still comes with lovely fitted wardrobes which must have cost a bomb back in the day. There is still room for a double bed and another larger than average window provides many hours of fun for you to star gaze.

Lastly, we come to the smallest of bedrooms and here, usually comes disappointment. Large enough to fit a double bed in with ease, there is also the added bonus of fitted wardrobes, which is usually the reason why bedroom three is small but not in this case.

Lastly, lasty (this really is the last time I say lastly I promise) There is a large attic space which could be converted if you really wanted more space (other people have done this in the road) but it provides loads of storage space if the garage becomes too full. If you are interested in this home, then it may be worth popping round to a neighbours and ask politely if you can see how its done you never know, they may just let you peek!

As we pop outside, there is a garage to the far end of the driveway, and as I mentioned earlier, is usually used as a workshop, storage facility or..Ive even known them to be converted into a bar I know which one Id choose (a workshop obviously, all estate agents arent alcoholics, just the others). The rear garden has been turned into an easy to maintain one. Stepping stones surround a decorative bordered area of gravel, while mature shrubs and wooden fences provide an area of privacy where you can sit out and relax with a nice glass of something refreshing after a hard day on the golf course or at the bowls club who works now-a-days!!

All in all this is a decent three bedroom detached bungalow that has two separate reception rooms (if required), a large kitchen which could also become a breakfast room if you threw some money at it, its in great order throughout but in my eyes would relish some updating, if you were renting it out its perfect as is, if youre living in it as a forever home then throw a small amount of money at it and turn it into something even more special the one thing you cant change is the location and thats probably the one thing you definitely wouldnt want to do homes like this come rarely to the open market, so hurry, this is one you must see!
