Worcestershire Area Guides

Black and white half-timbered cottages and Victorian and Georgian homes set in beautiful scenery, including the Malvern Hills, the Vale of Evesham, and the Northern Clent Hills, comprise this peaceful rural county. The cathedral city of Worcester, rich in history, and towns like Kidderminster, famous for its carpet heritage, offer alternatives to the peaceful countryside while still retaining access to it. Worcestershire is well-connected by motorway and by rail, and is near the airport in Birmingham. Though there is a direct rail link to London Paddington, few people commute to London, although some do commute to Birmingham. Property in Worcestershire offers excellent value for money, and there are many excellent schools in the county as well as superb retail, leisure, and cultural amenities.
