Pembrokeshire Area Guides

Pembrokeshire, the southern part of which is sometimes affectionately known as Little England beyond Wales, is a beautiful region of south west Wales. Surrounded by water on three sides, Pembrokeshire’s landscape is composed of stunning beaches, cliffs, hooded estuaries, and inland hills. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Path is the UK’s only coastal national park, and the small islands off the coast are breeding sites for seals and puffins. The area is well connected both to the rest of the UK and to Ireland, by road rail and sea, with several local companies providing bus services, Irish Ferries operating between Pembroke Dock and Rosslare, and frequent rail services. Schools are generally very good, and with the lowest Council Tax and insurance rates in Wales, family homes are both affordable and safe.
