Inverclyde Area Guides

Historically a shipbuilding centre, Inverclyde is still a significant shipping port and cruise ship stopping point. With coastal towns and villages, inland rural villages, and larger towns, Inverclyde offers a lot of lifestyle choice. Major investments have been made in schools, retail and leisure facilities, and housing in recent years, making for great opportunities in the area. It also has several places of interest, including Newark Castle, the Bogal Stone, and McLean Museum and Art Gallery. Inverclyde is a beautiful region, just 20 miles from the centre of Glasgow but separated from it by open countryside. It is possible to commute from Inverclyde into Glasgow, with great transport links into the centre and beyond.
