Clackmannanshire Area Guides

Nicknamed the ‘Wee County’ because of its size, Clackmannanshire is a beautiful county of rolling hills, pretty glens, and romantic stone ruins from the 14th and 15th centuries. With several golf courses, an equestrian centre, and a dry ski slope, there are endless outdoor and sport attractions in the Wee County, as well as impressive retail, art, and indoor entertainment facilities. Larger towns, like Stirling, offer excellent rail connections, and the area has good road connections. Clackmannanshire’s schools are also first class, with several new secondary schools having been opened in the last few years.
