Antrim is a historical town set in the rolling hills leading to the the banks of the Six Mile Water. It is a small, working class town that is generally not a tourist attraction, but it does have numerous landmarks including Antrim Castle, as well as good retail opportunities including a large outlet mall near the town. County Antrim also has numerous attractions, including the Causeway Coastal Road, the Giant’s Causeway UNESCO Heritage Site, and the famed Glens of Antrim. The area’s transport links include local buses, the Translink Northern Ireland Railways routes, and ferries from Larne Harbour to England and Scotland. Buses to Belfast take about twenty minutes.
